Unless they have changed the rules since last December (and that is certainly possible) parking was allowed on the streets around the hotel. We have stayed over Christmas the past two years (this is actually a great location for relatives), and parked on the street. We even did this when using points where parking was included as this was far more convenient than their garage.

We are there again later this month on points, and we will see how things are. Thanks for the heads up.
