I had actually planned to use the Yokoso fare since I will be traveling to Japan on JAL, but there are so many blackout dates including March 11 through March 31. I was so disappointed when I found that out, because I was SO looking forward to flying to Aomori in the morning and flying back to Tokyo that same evening.

And to make matters worse, you can't buy discounted domestic tickets from the JAL American website or toll free number. They'll only sell the regular published fare which turned out to be about 57,000 yen roundtrip.

What to do?
