This is an Avios redemption with an Amex companion voucher for me and my wife to NYC (LHR/JFK). It is not a honeymoon as such but it is our first big holiday in many years and first since getting married in COVID times. Neither of us has flown in business before so we don't know the tips and tricks.

Outbound is a day flight on BA0177 which looks like it should be Club Suite on a 777-200 and the return is a night flight on BA0116 which appears to be a 777-300ER.

Seat reservations look expensive but this is likely to be a one-off for us so if they add to the experience or are likely to give more peace and quiet on the night flight then it may be worthwhile.

I assume on the outbound 7E and 7F are the pick given that they are the last available together in the smaller cabin? Although they are up against the galley?

On the return that front cabin is full so other than those in close proximity to galleys, toilets and bassinets I guess they're all much the same?

What would you suggest given the below availability, please?

Thanks!!

I would concur with C-W-S that with club suites, the need for paying for seats are pretty much not required. I normally prefer the mini cabin but it is always full.
If you are after the middle seats, the chance are pretty high you will be put together in middle row seats as a couple but of course no guarantees in life. Would avoid bassinet rows and also the last rows since they are in front of the PE bassinet seats behind you. Otherwise every seats are pretty much the same.
