Forgot to take pics, but flew my first AA flight in ages last night. PHL-SEA.

No PDB, but the crew was otherwise excellent as soon as we got in the air. We left the gate early, so this is 100% fine by me. Drink orders happened pretty much immediately once we got up in the air. Everything was served in glassware. Two of us had the golden chicken. I thought it was pretty good, as was the salad with sun dried tomatoes, and the hummus that had a little bit of spice to it (not a lot, but it had flavor). Another of us had the chicken espagnole. It looked a lot better than the pictures in this thread, and the prosciutto and pear salad looked a bit more substantial as well. Maybe PHL catering is better? A bread basket was offered with white, wheat, and sourdough options - sourdough was pretty good. Butter was soft. My expectations aren't that high with airplane food, but this exceeded them.

The ice cream sundae was as I'd remembered it. Ice cream needed to soften up a bit, but seemed to be pretty decent quality, as were the toppings.

All in all, this is the best domestic F meal I've had this year. I mostly flew DL and mostly had packaged cookies as dessert. This was a really nice change. I will do it again.
