BREAKFAST - we queued shortly at desk , room no taken and we are seated by the window.
It was very busy @ 9-15am and not a relaxing affair, the food was a bit of a mixed bag….. I had some grapefruit segments ( nice ) then some granola with Greek yoghurt and coconut milk ( very nice but not as amazing as it used to be ) then some of the hot selection ( this was cold and unpleasant) .
I still think this is the best Hilton breakfast in London but I guess I caught it on a bad day , the queue for the hot food was long and the food carousel lids was constantly open, I guess this is why it was all cold….such a shame.
I finished with a flat white and some toast /cheese/ marmalade in the lounge, the lounge breakfast selection was good too and it was so much more peaceful in there.
CHECK OUT - done manually @ 10-30am, concierge was quick to bring the car around ( £40 valet parking here )
CONCLUSION - it’s a beautiful hotel, lovely ambiance and service was very good indeed, there was an issue with the lock on the door , no card would work yet strangely digital key worked…..i mentioned this upon checking out.
I love the pool, shame there is no sauna and the jacuzzi is weak but it’s a nice set up, spoiled by the guests this morning but never mind.
I think i still prefer Hilton tower bridge but I’m not sure however I would definitely return.
