I believe mia was just showing the total package of lounges available with Amex, not a source that you don't get restaurant access. That is well known and has been the case for a few years now. Even still, they do reference lounges specifically with the line "Platinum Card Members with a valid Card Account may access participating Priority Pass Select lounges". On prioritypass.com, restaurants are under the category "Eat" while actual lounges are under the category "Lounges".
Oh, I understand that, and we travel geeks here understand that. I’m only noticing that Amex doesn’t seem to be highlighting a key limitation of the PP cards it issues.
