No.
Just get silver in one go. You don't need a year at bronze first. Get 600 TP and you will be silver for the rest of that collection year and the whole of the next one, and then drop down to bronze again. So if you get 600 TP in May 2024 you will be Silver 24-25 (the rest of the collection year) and 25-26 (the next year you qualified for) and then drop to bronze in 26-27. Doing it before your year end loses you a year of status.
