Hi everyone, I had a same-day turnaround in Marid in October and I would like to ascertain which gate my aircraft used.
Per information from my airline's website and its app, I departed from T4S, Gate S35, and one of my photo taken shows that when I arrived at MAD, our adjacent gate is S37/S50 (A sign in the terminal showed this, I have no idea why 37 and 50 would be together).
However, upon checking the flightmap in FR24 & flightera, it seems that I have departed from Gate U58/U60 (top right side of T4S) instead of Gate S35 (lower left side of T4S). From my photos, I can also see a Qatar aircraft next to my aircraft when I arrived, which I assume to be QR148, and there was an Iberia 359 (IB6585) next to my aircraft when I departed. I checked FR24 and again both flights' flightmap suggested that they departed from which seems to be Gate U62/U64.
I think I'm missing some key information on the structure of MAD T4S which made me very confused. My aircraft did have a 5-hours layover time at MAD but I don't think it's very likely that it was towed to another gate during that time.
Any insight on this would be much appreciated!
