There is frequently a mandatory Christmas dinner as well. I guess there's always the mindset that if you can afford to stay there, you can afford to pay $850 (rough estimate for ++) for a meal, but personally I don't see it.....can't imagine any meal being worth that kind of money!
We’ve been there over New Year’s Eve for the last half dozen years so I was aware of the compulsory gala dinner, which has included some great entertainment recently recently but you’re right that it’s a lot of cash for a special buffet. What I was wondering was whether they plan to have any special menus at any of the other restaurants on other nights over the festive season - the past few years they have done and they’ve been fun and different food (eg white truffle and champagne tasting menus etc)…?
