Just spent a night here (thanksgiving night) after arriving from HR Lisbon.
arrived by taxi and was greeted by the bellman for luggage service.
Welcomed as a globalist and was told that we were upgraded to a Junior Suite King. Appears like other suites were available online but it was only one night here until our move to our current hotel Andaz with the rest of the family.
the room on the 3rd floor appears to be double wide with two large windows overlooking the streets. The bathroom was right at the front of the room and was double vanity, shower and tub in glass enclosure, and a toilet with a Japanese style toilet and auto bidet. Room was large with a sitting area, a desk, and a nice and large comfy king sized bed. There was a walk in closet with lots of room for luggage and a big metal door that appears to be the connecting door to the room next door. Weird connecting door setup to me.
fitness room in the basement was standard with some machines and weights and overlooked the indoor pool which looked very crowded twice I was down there.
breakfast was served in the main restaurant half a level up from the lobby. Grand Atrium was very inviting. The breakfast here is very good with high quality ingredients like passion fruit, burratta caprese, grilled eggplants and veges, and even cubed avocados with pomegranate. Lots of choices. The a la carte eggs menu was also delicious with truffle scrambled eggs and shavings of truffle on top. Service was excellent. Was not told that we can do room service breakfast though we would have done restaurant anyways.
Overall a great short stay. Right in front is a Christmas market and walking distance to Stephenplatz. I don’t stay at PHs much so this was a real treat.
