Not just the runway. Poor old landing gear, ouch!
Probably stopped on the taxiway to allow the brakes to cool after heavy braking. In the, hopefully unlikely, event of a brake fire, you want it on the taxiway… not at the stand where it is more difficult for the fire services to access all sides of the aircraft.
