I was upgraded to an Executive Suite from one of their plunge pool rooms on my last visit. Not sure if it’s really an upgrade when you’re one person, but I made the booking at 10pm for that night, so I was willing to be realistic about what rooms they had available at the time.
Well, I certainly won't fly to Koh Samui without a confirmed suite upgrade so if they can't play by the ruled I book the Ritz Carlton where I get a Pool Villa.
