Pre-refurb the room design had a greek flavour: think azure blue + beige

Rooms with the darker tones are 100% refurbished rooms
Athenaeum Intercontinental - ??????? ??? ??????????

They might have kept some suites in the orginal colour palate because some (with balconies) face the sun and dark can heat up quickly.

Had a look at the app,
Seems indeed some rooms keep indeed the older "Greek" colours but the furniture seems to match the more modern look renovated room design
