A few days ago I was on a relatively long flight (5.5h) on a 737 Max 8. The seat power outlets in 2E and 2F worked for about 45 mins, but then suddenly they stopped and the FAs didn't know how to revive them. They said it was somewhat common.*

Question: Is there some obscure trick to get these reset or is this just unfixable in flight?

* Looking back into the cabin, I could see some rows had still working power outlets by the green LED plus blue illumination for USB A port. Others were dark.
