The satelite product is an IntelSat, you get downlinked in the US via east or west coast teleports. The subnets are 216.250.192.0/19 and 164.86.0.0/21. Bandwidth is very decent. Also, the filtering on the IntelSat system is different from other products offered by QR (and in HIA), so there are some useful URLs for my work that suddenly works without VPN.

Now if someone could remove the airbag sausage on the seatbelt that eats two inches of the seat width I'd nominate this to my fave QR airplane for daytime trips.

How was the state of the seats? the ex-CX ones weren't great and it is a shame that QR wasn't addressing it as these cosmetic refreshes are relatively easy to do in-house.
