In my old timetable for the same period in 2003, I can see that there two flights Mon-Fri, and one flight on Sat and Sun. JETs again, which must have been the 737 fleet. Ah, the memories.
Yeah - I did a FRA-MAN-LGW-FRA all on one ticket in 2001. With a 2 week trip to Barbados from LGW on VS embedded.
My first ever upgrade - to VS Upper Class on the LGW-BGI leg. Ruined me for life! I never used to drink on planes in those days (not sure why), so drank orange juice all the way watching others quaffing champagne and wine
