You can use GUF2 on existing BAH booking and yes, you'll earn double tier points for the originally paid class of travel. You don't get extra tier points/avios for using GUF.

This applies to cash bookings and only upgrades BA or AA segments (TATL, domestic, short haul business class). You cannot use GUFs/jokers on Multi Partner Award bookings.
