Landing on 17L/35R (the newest runway built) is also a very long taxi just because of the distance. DFW has always had long taxi times which is why Southwest refused to fly there 50 years ago.
100%. The taxi itself was really not bad. It was the construction to enter the alley at the terminal that was the biggest hang up. As many times as I’m through DFW each month I never officially asked what was going on. I’m assuming just concrete repairs or are they changing/widening taxiways?
