What seats were available for upgrades?
A part of polaris cabin is near wings so placing ppl there really should not affect w/b meaningfully. This is not some small RJ, the plane carries tons of cargo so movement of a few 80 kg individuals seems like a very minor contributor and if they really needed to scrape every little bit to improve range. I assume they also had to move ppl within individual cabins and perhaps reposition cargo load.
