But if you look at trends over that time, with the reduction in business slots (FRA frequencies for example) and their transfer to leisure routes (Greek islands, Canaries), along with the lounge profile (more leisure customers spending longer there) and rise of Teams/Zoom in my work life, I’m not surprised at all today.
BACF is similar - the profile of routes and pax from LCY has changed almost beyond recognition over the last 10 years.
Thanks - interesting stuff. By how much has FRA reduced in frequency compared to say 2013? I recall BA even used to have a 767 on that route for a while on some rotations.
A relative came back from AMS on Monday this week and noted that both her late afternoon flight and the one an hour or so before were A319 aircraft which I was surprised at too. Or would that be more related to it being November?
