Was anyone else really amazed at that percentage traveling on BA for leisure? I would also have been surprised if it had even been 50%.leisure.
Times must be changing
A decade ago, yes I’d have been surprised. But if you look at trends over that time, with the reduction in business slots (FRA frequencies for example) and their transfer to leisure routes (Greek islands, Canaries), along with the lounge profile (more leisure customers spending longer there) and rise of Teams/Zoom in my work life, I’m not surprised at all today.
BACF is similar - the profile of routes and pax from LCY has changed almost beyond recognition over the last 10 years.
