To continue: the flight whose seatmap I posted above opened up widely during the CKI window (T-30 hours). However, seat next to me neither greyed out nor occupied with an X. No neighbour during the flight, but the flight wasn't full either.

Which now leaves us with no rule of how they handle seats next to status pax?
