Backstory: There isn't one. I've been itching to fly and had been looking around on seats.aero for fun and found some great availability yesterday on some metal and routes I hadn't flown previously. After getting the okay from P2 this morning to skip Thanksgiving for a few days in the sky, I booked my trip with miles and it starts tomorrow! Here is my routing:

The total was around 459k miles & $620 in fees spread across MileagePlus, AAdvantage, Asia Miles, and FlyingBlue. Purchasing the flights would have cost around $38,500 USD so that's about $0.083 per mile which is a pretty good redemption in my book.

I'm leaving LA at 8:45 am tomorrow and returning on Sunday at 7:50 pm. I have an overnight layover in CDG, otherwise, I will be lounge-hopping and sleeping on planes. Keep an eye out for updates along the way!
