DP- ugh here we go again. Had emergency surgery 3 days before cruise was due to start. Cannot fly, need follow up. Look upthread, around page 43 for my previous posts on how to do this from June 2022. Since I have done the drill before, I started the claim yesterday, and hopefully have everything but the attending physician statement, which I hope to get tomorrow. It has been over 18 months since my first claim, so that should be ok. I found my previous pdf attending physician statement, and it was very easy to edit with a pdf editor. I scanned and uploaded my pre op instructions, and my discharge instructions from this event. Mrs. boerne is OCD in a good way and had all the receipts, proof of cancellation, and cancellation policy for the cruise line, as well as the CoC. Air was AA booked through Chase points, so we have a travel credit. I may eat the prepaid hotel in Miami. I will try to keep you posted on the outcome.
