I noticed ever since covid and constant premium CC signup bonus / status extension by spending, often time half of the plane is in zone 2...

I flew out of ​​​​LAX last year, the queue was wrapped around all the way to the lounge entrance to fill up an A330.

So are many instances on widebody flights between YYZ-YUL... It was total chaos. I suspect there were more zone 2 than zone 3 and 4 combined. I have given up fighting for bin space, either pack light or check my carryon regardless.
