For the past few years, I’ve been fortunate in receiving 6-8 NLL biz plats and 4-5 NLL biz golds and during that same timeframe I’ve also kept careful records of the number of days after approval until card receipt and first statement for all my new credit cards.

For both biz plats and biz golds the average and most common interval between approval and receipt of card has been 2 days with a range of 1-4 days, usually by FedEx. Best I recall, biz plat arrives in a fancy-schmancy thin silver colored box a little larger (height and width) than a standard business envelope with lots of dead trees (unnecessary papers) and biz gold arrives in a thick standard sized envelope inside an overnight FedEx mailer envelope.

There are several reports of successful NLL biz plat and biz gold applications every 91 days, sometimes with approvals for both cards on the same day every 91 days. As was written, biz plat and biz gold are different products and thus for the purposes of SUBs they are unrelated.
