On my recent 4 Nordics-Greece flights (not that this number is of statistic significance) only one had proactively offered pre-dinner drinks. The other flights felt like staff pulled the curtain and hid while ovens heated up.
I do hope this is not becoming the norm, I always held Aegean high for running such a decent intra-Europe business class service.
Even on flights airborn for "just" two hours, there is plenty of time, I mean it was easily possible pre covid.
But what strikes me most (apart from the huge inconsistency among crews) is that they actually have an Aperitif section in the drinks-menu, which is by definition served before the meal ...
