Oh boy. It’s possible but a lot has to go right for you to make this. Inbound can’t be late at all, jetway has to come up to the plane quickly, you need to be close to an AirTran stop if you need to change terminals, the AirTran needs to come just as you walk up, you then need to be close to the next gate after getting off the AirTran, the gate agent of the next flight can’t close the door early, etc. etc.

I’ve done this a few times at DFW when the inbound has been late, but it wasn’t easy and once the gate agent had to reopen the door for me (after she had literally just closed it two seconds before I got there).
