So some of the problems seem to me to be caused by trying to board large aircraft at gates that look like they were designed to load nothing larger than an A320.

AC 107, YYZ - YVR today, 777, boarding from D24 which if you know it has space for maybe 20 people deep from the podium to the edge of the carpet.

They are boarding 400!! people onto this flight, so that means not only is there mass confusion about where the lanes are, but the whole concourse is chock full of people so you can't even really get to the Zone 1 line without getting really pushy, and people can't get to the gates further down past this one.

Some serious bad planning for sure!
