WOW... it's obvious that so many of you have never flown US Airways. First of all, a very ignorant person said that US Airways has no IFE, which is not true. All of US Airways A319,A320,A321,A330,B757, and B767 aircraft are equipped with IFE, they usually show a movie and short programs on flights over 3 hours long. On A330 transatlantic flights, US Airways offers the Sony Passport entertainment system, by far the best offered by any US airline.

Even UA lovers would agree that US Airways A319/A320/A321 First Class seats are much better and have more legroom. Sure, UA only has 8 seats in F on their A319s, but legroom is very limited, especially in row 1.

UA is dramatically reducing the number of widebody aircraft they fly domestically, so your chances of flying on one of these aircraft on domestic flights is very small, unless you are flying between hubs. UnitedBusiness seats are very uncomfortable, in fact they don't even feature electronic controls (oh but US Airways' Envoy Class seats do).

UA does offer better meals on domestic flights, but other than that, I don't see how UnitedFirst is better than US Airways' first class.
