Comments: Upgraded prior to arrival. Nice, personalized letter and snacks in room at arrival. Very nice and quiet AC hotel. Nice lobby, restaurant and bar. Walking distance to Portland shops, historic district, restauraunts, etc.
If this was the top floor, then I had the same room back in March! Truly an excellent suite and I really liked the hotel in general. They surprisingly have (or at least had in March) an airport shuttle as well. I however did not get the goodie bag with the Perrier. Regardless, this will for sure be my go-to anytime I go back to PWM, assuming the price is reasonable.

Comments: apparently the best suite in the building, and it's hard for me to disagree. Welcome email ~36 hours out, replied requesting late checkout and granted 1600 still >24 hours out. Room was on the top floor and had the curved windows in the bedroom, what a spectacular view to wake up to. Offered breakfast or points, took the breakfast which was very nice (European-style buffet and small menu, all included). They are one of two Marriott properties downtown to offer a complimentary airport shuttle, which happens to be a Mercedes GLS450.
