Sorry for not being able to hold myself here, but we have vastly different experiences regarding Singapore Changi airport!
Maybe if you're allowed to enter the country via the lanes that are there for residents, people with visa's or whatever probably the equivalent of the TSA pre-check is it could be a nice experience.
But waiting in line with literally thousands of people for hours (to clear customs / immigration / "admittance" or whatever that was) is definitely not something others should look up to!
Having you only piece of drop-off baggage getting singled out for a further thorough scan (single check-point with about 20 more "victims" already waiting there!) after you've finally made it through (wth, there were only clothes in there!) kind of adds up to the whole "experience".
Both my wife and I found the very long queues at JFK to have been less stressful than Changi! Horribly ineffective, I don't care at all what Skytrax may have to say or award, I know what we and thousands of others experienced!
