I want to book a roundtrip flight with the leg on the way there in business and the leg on the way back in economy. Though I can't seem to figure out the right combination of things to check/uncheck to make this happen within the portal.
I can do this easily on United but I wanted to use some travel points and get the 5x points in return as well.
Any ideas or thoughts?
I tried to do the same thing on an AA international round trip routing. Recently. The round trip pricing was half of two one-way pricing, and on AA.com I could book J outbound, premium Economy return with a substantial savings over two separate one ways, but on the portal it would only let me book the same class of service on both legs. I wonder if calling would have access to that inventory even though the portal was too limited to do it, but I eventually gave up and booked a different way
