There are ONLY ever 2 J award seats and 2 PE award seats on Iberia metal (long-haul). It doesn't matter where you book them. The only (tiny) chance for any extra seats is very close to departure.

Moreover, cancellations of those prized award seats don't always go back into inventory.

You can book 360 days in advance via IB+, although there is a glitch right now that is simply due to the switchover to the winter 2024/25 schedule.
