AF seat maps that don’t make sense

This is for a flight I just booked, departure in 2 days (more than 48 hours). Can someone explain to me the sense of this seat map?

Some seats are occupied, the ones with an X; some seats are simply not available, but not occupied, the ones greyed out. But what’s the logic behind that? It can’t really be for weight and balance, because for weight and balance one either blocks seats in front or in the back. But this blocking of windows/aisles in the front and of random rows in the back - what’s the point?
