Hi - I am UA Premier silver, with the UA Explorer credit card. Booked a multi city itinerary on Air Swiss website, so presumably that’s Air Swiss/LH ticketing for the whole itinerary? Flights are outbound IAD to MUC on LH operated flight (UA code share), then return is ZRH to IAD on a UA operated flight (with LH code share). Is your ticket Economy Basic or Economy Light? (the latter being equivalent to UA's Basic Economy and the latter the equivalent of UA regular economy)
When checking bags with UA, you will get your Silver bag waiver. With LH or LX, you will not.
What I find odd is if ticketed by LX (724 ticket stock why is the LH operated flight a UA codeshare share. Understand the return being LH codeshare of UA flight, but why is LHG carrier using UA codeshares of LHG flights?
