The redemption rate was quite reasonable - but - to be clear - this is a hotel, not an exec apartment. During a recent stay, I discovered this property has a timeshare option. I am waiting for details. My hunch is that Marriott has developing more diverse offerings and these are the latest examples?
There is no reason believe that Marriott Vacations Worldwide (owner of Marriott Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, the Abound exchange system, and the Interval International exchange system) is involved with Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy.

Properties branded as Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy don't exist anywhere yet. The brand was just announced. Now Marriott needs to get developers involved.
One of the bullets at the
Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy webpage is "Primarily franchise model (North America) / managed model available," so there's no reason to believe these won't exist in the US.
