Some of my comments

- I just try and avoid LAX immigration now. Not worth the hassle. I prefer DFW, JFK or PHL these days.
- As above, Neon Museum is great - especially at night
- Never stayed in the D but have stayed in Downtown Grand and the location and their new rooms are excellent. The hotdog and beer deal is great. Found some of the table game dealers to be a bit "huffy".
- I actually really like Ellis Island, great Philly Steak, $5 craps all day and $5 locally brewed beer - what's not to love. Best dealers Vegas.
- I really like The Coffee Cup Cafe (diner) in Boulder, though I don't think they have outdoor seating? Maybe they do but I usually go in winter when it's a bit chilly outside.
- Agree with you that some of the great bargains LV was one known for are now done. Vegas is targetting for whales and less families and everyone. My comps are certainly a bit less, despite my spending increasing
