I can't remember the last time I booked Y in Europe and am not too fussed about the TPs.
My reasons for doing it are I like the empty middle seat, I like to be able to eat and drink if I want to which is 50/50, I like the being able to not have to fight too much for overhead space and I like being one of the first off which can make a big difference in Brexit world, yes this might just be 15-20 mins but do this week in and week out it all adds up.
