For years MVD was a tag from the GRU or (most often) the EZE flight on UA and AA.

Much more likely with the extended on-ground time in EZE to just run over (it's such a quick flight) and park the plane in MVD for the afternoon...but as stated upthread--if AA can't make a go of it UA certainly won't be able to.
