Once the seatbelt light went off I started to get comfortable but low and behold the buttons of the Club Suite seat weren't working. At boarding I noticed there were 2 or 3 empty suites but there were now people in them. Upgraded passengers, staff, whoever. If I had have checked at the gate the cabin manager said they would have called maintenance to look at it before push back. Lesson learnt. Got back 80,000 Avios though and it was a night flight so the crew fiddled with it and got it flat manually. The next thing I remembered was waking up 7 hours later descending into LHR.
