Last week to HKG we left by bus from C15 rather than from the downstairs remote gates, presumably due to the aircraft size. F called first, and we were directed to a freezing cold bus that sat there for 30min while a dozen other buses were loaded with Y/J and sent off. Boarded the plane last, door shut immediately after. PDB service was rushed. I can't imagine QR actually thinks F/J passengers would prefer to sit in the gate area or a bus over their seat on the plane enjoying a drink? (Especially an F seat).

Because qr has special j and f buses you may need to wait for PAX to fill the bus. Its why they often start loading the Y buses and send them to the aircraft long before they start boarding the J bus.
I am surprised they started loading the F bus so early, but can happen if one of the F PAX starts complaining about Y boarding before F.
And....I'd love to know how you get a freezing cold bus in doha, especially if the doors are open!!!
