No miles awarded for dining at restaurant
VIP member United Mileage Plus Dining.
I have dined at the same restaurant about ten times over the last two years. I usually take my whole family to diner at different restaurants a couple times a month. I notice one restaurant we dine at was not posting to my account. We usually spend $250.00 to $350.00 per visit. I ran a Quicken report and found there was no miles posted for the last four visits. There is usually a notice on United website that a restaurant is leaving soon. After contacting United I received a series of emails about the date's visits and the location of the restaurant. The restaurant has about four locations in the County of Los Angeles. I gave United the additional information that they requested.
I received this reply,
"I see this restaurant is an online order only participant. The online ordering only restaurants are powered by ChowNow. We are not contracted with these restaurants, so the rewards are only provided when using the third-party service on the Mileage Plus Dining website. In-person or orders purchased outside our website would not qualify for rewards.
If you purchased through our site, please forward the emailed ChowNow receipt."
