I had no issue searching for DFW-SIN with stops in TYO up until 9/12, and then multi-stops still showed availability, so might be some AA bug for now.
From what I can tell, JAL & AA should offer up award travel (either miles or upgrades) 330 days out which would mean my searches are within the window, so I don't *think* there's a bug at play. Basically, I'm trying a handful of options to see what makes the most sense; the two main prongs of this are "booking entirely with miles" or "book economy then upgrade to business using miles for C-class upgrades". When I look on EF I'm seeing 7 C seats per flight:
But I also looked for these same flights on AA.com using miles and it kicks back errors saying something is wrong, even for just economy seats. I'm wondering if the JAL portion of this is causing issues with my AA searches, or if there's something else I'm missing. I can see these flights if I search without using miles, so maybe there's something wrong with how I'm approaching it.
