I even had some ignorant TSA agent ask me for a passport when I presented my Global Entry ID to get on an F9 flight to LAS showing that not everyone was aware that domestic flights were flying out of the mostly international T5 at ORD (though I remember years prior, NK had used those gates before finding a permanent home at T3).

It would have been more interesting if there were other actual international flights arriving and people got to the agents and kiosks before the error was noticed.
I have had a TSA agent, a gate agent, and someone at a check-in desk (all separate occasions) making up crap and told me they a Federal ID like Global entry card was not acceptable.

Anyway, back on topic:

I noticed immediately but chose not to say anything since I was in the back half of economy exit row so most of the plane has already gotten off anyways. It didn't really matter, once I got to the areas before the counters, the shouting and complaining had already started.
Thanks for the update. So how was everything resolved? It would have been funny if someone went up to an immigration officer and said I just flew in from Newark, and I don't have anything to declare
