Have used the AARP $65/$200 discount regularly for BA bookings on DFW-LHR-SNN/DUB (with the LHR-SNN/DUB legs on EI) flights for many years.
Tried multiple times to book this routing this week but could not get past the payment page.
Had a conversation with a contact centre supervisor who advised that this discount no longer applies to itineraries with EI flight segments.
He had me check on "ba.com/aarp" where there is no longer any mention of EI under terms and conditions.
Not sure if there has been a change for EI operated legs, or if this was an anomaly all along that the system has now eliminated.
Just booked my flight for this routing without the AARP link and ironically the fare had dropped below the AARP discounted fare WT+ fare quoted just an hour earlier!
Happy with todays fare, but unhappy the AARP discount has been restricted to BA/AA/IB flights only.
I went back a year on archive.org and don't see any reference to EI operated flights, so I'd wager it's an anomaly that was eliminated.
