An update on the Abu Dhabi lounge situation. They indeed use the Pearl Lounge. I'm just here now and it is very nice in my opinion, much better than what you get at most outstation lounges. It is large with a dining area, "terrace" area (it is enclosed too) and there are some quiet areas. It is roomy with lots of space. In terms of food, there are around 8 hot meal options, a salad bar, sweets section and a pastry/bread section. There is a bar in the terrace area. Wifi at the airport is excellent and quick (and no need to log in, it just works as soon as you select it, at least for now). Only downside of the lounge is there are not a lot of power plugs if you need charging (at least in the terrace area where I'm sitting)
