Not a lot "wrong", just not on the level of MUC or ZRH. VIE has many open stand positions (=pax need to take a bus), and a totally idiotic layout, which makes connections more painful than necessary (=passage between levels is only at one end of the concourse, so you may have to walk the full length of the concourse, go up/down one level, and then walk the full length back. Architects didn't think...). I am not familiar with all the OS lounges at VIE, but the HON Circle lounges are several leagues below MUC or ZRH. Any "normal" Air France lounge in CDG is better than the HON Circle Lounges in VIE. So I only imagine the Business and Senator lounges.

On top of that, Austrian Airlines has considerably lost its edge. It used to be a really nice boutique-style airline with catering that stood out from the rest of the fray. Since several years it has cheapened down (just like LX). Thank you Lufthansa.
