Anyway, mention of Starlux aside, my point stands. A devaluation was inevitable, and plenty of value in the new award charts is there to be found, especially compared to what you can get elsewhere.
Not sure where you can find plenty of value. Anything less than 1500 miles seem to be good, but most short haul J is not that valuable to begin with. 2 hours in BA's EU biz seat might as well be the least fun way to use 15000 miles. 1500-3000 miles are just poor value, period. 3000+ miles are about the same as many other airlines' programs, except you have to deal with AS's famous IT and agents with 30 seconds of training.
