Booked a one way redemption. Called two weeks later to add the return.

When booking the return leg the agent told me there was no cash payment required and quoted the Avios amount.

I queried this but he was clear there was nothing further to pay. The booking proceeded on that basis.

Had a call from India at 10pm tonight asking to charge fees (no taxes). I pushed back on the basis of what I had been told at the point of booking. Suggested they listen to the call. The call was passed to a supervisor who asked for permission to charge the credit card with the additional fees but said the tickets would be issued regardless.

Very odd!

What are the chances of the tickets actually being issued?
